The Courettes Announce New Double A-Side Garage Rock Singles ‘Killer Kiss’ and ‘Life Goes On’
The garage rock duo return with two brand-new tracks packed with fuzz-drenched guitars, girl-group harmonies and cinematic drama, ahead of their US tour supporting The Damned.
The Courettes are back with two brand-new tracks, ‘Killer Kiss’ and ‘Life Goes On’, bringing their signature blend of snarling garage rock, retro girl-group harmonies and wall-of-sound production to a new 7-inch single.
Leading the release, ‘Killer Kiss’ finds the duo navigating the dark alleys of the city, where urban danger meets thrilling romance. Driven by the band's trademark spit-and-snarl garage rumble and Spector-esque sha-la-la harmonies, the track delivers another dose of their infectious, vintage-inspired sound.
On the flip side, ‘Life Goes On’ takes a more dramatic turn, with tremolo-soaked 12-string guitars, fuzz and a heavy dose of heartbreak. Together, the two tracks showcase The Courettes' knack for pairing raw rock 'n' roll energy with strong songwriting, melodic hooks and a distinctly cinematic atmosphere.
Describing the release as another case of “another thriller – no filler”, the duo emphasise their commitment to songwriting over social media hype, reaffirming their love for timeless melodies, classic production and unapologetically loud rock 'n' roll.
The new single arrives as The Courettes prepare to tour the United States with punk legends The Damned throughout October and November.
